    • The medical specialty associated with the diagnosis and treatment of the entire clinical range of painful disorders. Pain is a very feared human experience and as many recent studies have demonstrated, is vastly misunderstood and inadequately treated.

Our Pain Management approach is based on interventions that are focused on eliminating or dramatically reducing pain levels as well as treating many other problems which may accompnay pain.

What is the difference between acute pain and chronic pain?

Acute Pain is pain of short, and limited duration, usually the result of an injury, surgery or medical illness. Acute pain goes away with the healing process.

Chronic pain continues for longer periods of time; sometimes despite the healing of the original injury. Chronic pain does not necessarily respond to standard therapies such as surgery, medication, and bed rest.

Treatments for acute and chronic pain are often quite different.

Our pain management approach provides quality outpatient services for the relief of chronic pain in a timely manner.
